Malibu Wine Safari

You had me at Merlot, Stanley the Giraffe is just a plus. Okay, if its your first venture along the Pacific Highway, you have to stop by the Malibu Wine Safari. It’s such an incredible experience to taste some wine, have a picnic and meet their famous Giraffe Stanley. You’ve seen all the photos on social media so here are a little bit of helpful tips to make your experience worth while.

Book in advance. Especially if you’re going for a birthday, bachelorette fun, or with your special someone . They have a variety of packages that consist of a general tour, variety of wine tastings, and of course animal safari. We went in the middle of summer so my goal was to meet Stanley then get lost in the glasses of Rosé. Drink responsibly. Whether you’re a master of driving off the coast or it’s your first time, the roads can be a bit tricky. That being said, enjoy yourself. This place is so magical. You can choose from different wine pairing. White, red, bubbly, whatever your heart desires they have it. Due to Covid, guests of ten or more must book a private truck for their group. They also have a pizza and wine tour, a vintner tour, a vineyard lunch tour, or the famous giraffe tour. In particular, the giraffe tour is $95 and lasts about 105 minutes. You tour the saddle rock ranch and visit the animals. This tour includes a tasting of six wines and for me it was perfect. The Safari is open from 9 am to 5pm, so depending on your scenic preference book accordingly.

The place is full of scenic areas so dress cute and grab a full photos. Keep in mind it is outside so if the heels are absolutely necessary for the look (I get it) opt for some guards at the tip of the heel to make walking on the grass a breeze. Have fun and enjoy a glass for me!
