HOUSTON

If you’re looking for budget friendly pumpkin patch photo ops, I got you! There are plenty of churches and other locations in the city that won’t cost you the price of dinner to snap a picture of your little pumpkin in a patch. Below are a few spots you can enjoy this season. Like most moms, I’m trying my best to ease my way into this new normal and try and enjoy these little moments before my kid tells me he’s too old to sit on a pumpkin and say cheese so here we go!

Lakewood United Methodist Church(NW Houston) — 11330 Louetta, Houston. The pumpkins arrive on October 7, and the patch will be open daily through October 31. Hours are 2 pm – 8 pm Monday through Friday and 10 am – 8 pm on Saturday and Sunday.

St. Philip’s is the one we went to. It’s great if you don’t want to deal with a large group of people and if you have a little one who hasn’t really grasped the idea of pumpkin patch’ing :). Face masks are required at all times. Obviously toddlers touch everything so keeping sanitizing and washing your hands immediately after is strongly advised. I know during these times it’s tough to enjoy our normal fall festivities, so enjoy as you feel comfortable. Have the best time with your little pumpkin!
