Coffee body scrub – When I think of “lovely lady lumps” my mind quickly runs to my legs 😂. I carry most of my weight in my lower body so while a little curve here and there is nice, it comes with a price. Stretch marks, cellulite, dimples, ripples, call it what you will but I got them. I’ve altered my diet, tried crazy exercises that decrease cellulite and tighten skin, always do my best to stay hydrated but still have texture on the back of my thighs. While coffee scrub doesn’t make them disappear, it DOES help to exfoliate and stimulate the blood flow to those stubborn areas. I started using coffee scrub years ago and now it’s part of my routine. Over time you’ll see the difference in your skins texture. Friend to friend, you need to try this and do it year round. Once summer rolls around you’ll be blasting Kendrick’s “Humble “ and feeling extra confident in your skin .
Trader Joe’s Tea Tree Tingle Body Wash – If you’re looking for an at home spa experience this is your new best friend. Ever tried a tea tree shampoo? That refreshing tingly sensation with fresh scents of mint and eucalyptus? Nice, right? That’s exactly the feeling you get with this body wash. I love it. It’s the only body wash I use. It leaves me feeling refreshed. It’s affordable and free of any harsh chemicals found in other body washes.
Rosehip oil– Every once in a while you get in one of those Tumblr honey vibes. Give me glowy even complexion, glossy lips and lids, and natural lighting for a selfie. But wait…how do I achieve that flawless look? For most of us, an even glowy complexion is on our Christmas list every year. Rosehip oil has been a game changer for me. I have redness in my cheeks and nose region. I’ve used all sorts of green tea treatments that promise to soothe redness but it never seemed to last. Rosehip is a natural way to achieve an even complexion, not to mention re-hydrate your skin and gradually fill any fine lines. Every night I mix a drop of rosehip oil and a few drops of coconut oil on my face and neck and it works. The past few years I’ve been completely comfortable leaving the house without makeup! I love it.
Castor oil– Dig through some photos in high school and you’ll find me eyebrowless 😂. That’s right! I was a self inflicted victim of over plucking and thinning eyebrows. Thank god for castor oil. Just like skincare, it takes a good 3-4 weeks to see results but my eyebrows are socially acceptable now and full as can be. It’s natural and saves me a ton of money when it comes to brow products. I used to use pomade, eyebrow pencil, eyebrow tint and gel. Now I can get away with brow soap and a few strokes of eyebrow powder. Try it!
Charcoal toothpaste – Okay, I know black toothpaste can seem a little unsettling but I swear by this stuff. It’s the only thing I use now to whiten my teeth. I used to use whitening stripes, whitening treatments that cost a fortune, and whitening toothpaste. After years of doing so, my teeth became sensitive. A bit of research and trial and error and I found Hello Fresh Toothpaste. I promise, three brushes later and I saw dramatic results. No nasty aftertaste, no big mess, and a hundred percent effective. I’d highly recommend it.
Aztec mask – I’m sure most of you have heard of this gem, but in case you were in a internet hiatus, here it is again. This Aztec mask is like hitting the reset button. I have large pores around my nose and t-zone so I use this at least twice a month. Never fails, once I use it my pores are clean, noticeably smaller and my skin is so smooth. No painful blackhead stripes, no burning mask, no $300 bill from the spa for extractions. It’s a miracle, and you get so much for the money. I have sensitive skin and combo oil levels so I’m always pleased when I can find something that gives me a deep clean but doesn’t make my skin peel.
I can go on and on with my natural beauty favorites, but I figured I’d ease you guys in. I’ll leave a link below in case you want to check them out.
