Houston’s Newest Fitness Studio

What you need to know about Houston’s newest fitness studio.

It’s female and minority owned and operated. We had the luxury of getting a sneak peek of Houston’s hottest new fitness studio. Owner Claudia Soto has paved her way through fitness instruction, app development, cultivating an apparel line that caters to real body types, and now; an exclusive gym that provides one-on-one training and top of the line equipment.

Located in Spring Street Studios, this state of the art gym really embraces the art of fitness. No really, from the grand entrance of bold art sculptures, to the glistening walls covered in art and motivational writing it’s definitely on our list of top favorite gyms.

Traditional fitness studios tend to be solely sales driven which can be off putting, it was refreshing to walk into a space that wasn’t stark and intimidating. Like most people, the pressure of joining an Equinox or the overly crowded gyms downtown where the super swole gorilla walkers pace the gym and throw their equipment down as a way to communicate “I work out regularly.” It can be extremely hard to focus and feel confident in that setting. What we love about Sweat And Soul Fitness is more than the aesthetically pleasing studio, but the passion and amazing energy you get the moment you walk through the door.

The self proclaimed “introvert” owner and expert instructor Claudia has such an incredible energy about her. She has the amazing ability to communicate fitness in such a relatable and informative way. Sweat And Soul has the most insane Pilates machine and Tonal gym. For someone who considers the stairs cardio, something as advanced as Pilates seems doable after a confident walkthrough with Claudia and that’s truly what fitness is about and her brand is all about.Health education, confidence, and fitness thats done in a real and authentic way. We are so excited to book our next workout with Sweat and Soul Fitness. If you’re looking for a cool new workout spot and a way to support a minority and female owned and operated business, look no further!
